Nancy Hamstra beat breast cancer. On April 25, 2010, she will Race for the Cure.

In 2003, Nancy Hamstra, director of emergency medical services at UMDNJ-The University Hospital, was diagnosed with breast cancer. There was no family history. She was a single mother raising two children.
This is her story, one of the reasons she will participate in the 3rd Annual Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure on April 25, 2010, at Branch Brook Park in Newark, N.J.
