I used to hate the sound of a volkswagen the engine sounded like Hitler screaming in rapid-fire german. Something like daaaaa dit dit dit dit dit yaaaa dit dit dit dit. They need to rip out the Nazi air-cooled engine and put a John Deere in it. That way it wont sound like a Ribbentrop fart

The fuel consumption of internal combustion engines has improved dramatically over the years. However, in the last 2 decades, safety legislation has meant that car manufacturers must add advanced safety features, increasing the weight of the vehicle. It is astonishing that car manufacturers have been able keep the fuel consumption the same whilst adding these features.
