Try playing this game on Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on the Game Boy Color. Holy shit, it's so fucking hard. Since the screen is small on the GBC, only like half of the area can be viewed at a time. So not only are there swarms of enemies in front of you, there are a ton in your blind spots as well. Sections like that invisible block jumping are also unpleasant.
