A few things: this in NOT Spinning, it's cycling. Next, the height/length set-up is too low. Third: the standing movement is performed poorly and taught even worse. Last: this instructor is a clown.

spinning and cycling will do shag all for your core and you definitely dont tuck the tailbone under ,thats posterior pelvic tilt which excessively loads the discs.Youre core will always engage with any limb movement,you dont need to do anything

Man, the spinning position looks like it will tense up your upper back, possibly causing you a long-term back ache. I don't think it is a good thing if a fitness tool pulls your posture forward; already we have most of the western population tends to have their spine slightly bent inwards because our life style with desk work and reaching the hands forward for the computer or a pen. The trainers should stop recommending the moves with sitting as it makes our abdomen a screw press for the back.
