You have a point.... what a person believes does effect who they are... however, romney doesnt preach from his religion like huckabee does... i believe that romney will not chose something because of a belief but because he believes it to be true. Huckabee is doing the same thing so to compare the two is a contradiction on your part. And they are not called mormons they are called LDS (mormons is a nickname but not their "name"). And they are pro-life.
Show us your magic Masonic Mormon underpants!! Tell us how you lick boots for NAFTA, CFR, WHO, and AIPAC. Bet most of you dummies don't even know what those are. Don't know enough to care. Don't care enough to know. It equals good bye America hello Tyranny. He's just here to draw votes away from Dr. Paul. Admit it.
Kennedy also said during that speech, "I believe in an America in which the separation of church and state is absolute." Romney seemed to imply that it was, at the most, only a prohibition againt having an official state church. What a sham.
On the issues of gay rights, etc. don't let people get away with accusing Romney of changin. Romney has been consistent-- he opposes discrimination but has always opposed gay marriage and civil unions. On gun control, Romney has also had a consistent position as he explained on Meet The Press. People are lying and getting away with it. Stand up for Mitt!
Mitt has not raised the issue of his relative's death from an illegal abortion because he thinks it will confuse voters. He is wrong. For me, it resolved the authenticity issue when I found out that there has been a deep personal stuggle on the issue of abortion for Governor Romney. DO all you can to spread this information. It will make a difference as people see that the issue has been a personal stuggle for Romney.
What Romney didn't say is whether his faith changed when he became pro-life and pro-family or did his religion change? Do Mormons support abortion? If not, does his faith really influence him at all? That is why faith became an issue - because it is the foundation for a life-long integrity on these issues that Huckabee has and Romney doesn't.
Pat Buchanan is NOT an "evangelical leader". For one thing, he is a Roman Catholic.
