Honestly, it was not him. His wife was not really happy in Edmonton, that's why he was in a lot of teams. St-Louis, Anaheim, Edmonton and etc.

@ghostsintheforum Fine, fair enough. But like I said, that doesn't mean the real fans in Carolina (and believe me, if there's suddenly fans in Atlanta, there's fans in Carolina) don't deserve to see their team win.

@GOODPLAYA20 It's got nothing to do with Canada. the San Jose Sharks are in a non traditional hockey market and I wouldn't mind seeing them win. Why? because they're heavily supported by their community and sell out every game. They're a franchise that pulls it's own weight in the league. Crappylina doesn't.

@ghostsintheforum The Carolina Hurricanes play in the NHL. They are equal to the Edmonton Oilers and deserve to win just as much as the Oilers. Just because one team is located somewhere other than Canada doesn't mean they don't deserve to win. It's not Carolina's (not crapolina) fault. What do you want them to do? Just roll over and lose because the other team's fans deserve it? Maybe your 30% shouldn't have sucked.

@GOODPLAYA20 Yes and all season long while the Oilers were squeeking by, they were selling out every game while Crapolina was playing well and practically had to give tickets away. I'm just sick of real hockey teams that sell tickets having to financially support teams that nobody even cares about so if it wasn't for teams like the Oilers, the Canes wouldn't even exist. IMO, the NHL is 70% about the fans, 30% about the players. Edmonton fans deserved that cup more than those sunbelt fans.

@ghostsintheforum I know right? The 8th place team should've won it because they're geographically more north than the team that actually won in the regular season. Makes perfect sense.
wow thats a loud croud

Like Cherry said, Pronger and Roloson were the best players in those playoffs.
