On Friday, March 9, Cook County Sheriff officers and agents from Bank of New York Mellon attempted to evict a Chicago family from their home of 17 years. After a seven-hour standoff- Chicago Anti-Eviction Campaign & Occupiers on one side, Chicago Police Department officers & bank agents on the other- the eviction was halted. The family gets to stay in their home- for now.

Please sign the petition to demand that Bank of New York Mellon make a fair agreement with the family to stay in their home based on the actual current market value.
