  • @AnnaLRussell - well, when you're only doing barre work...it really doesn't call for any "passion". Barre work is basically just about just "exercising" the body on the basic techniques - keeping in "ballet shape", etc. Now, in a rehearsal for an actual performance - or in the performance itself - then yes, you do want to see some "passion" or artistic "life".

  • yes i agree, but i think every single little step in ballet or in any other art, if you love it, should be performed with so much passion! you can't wait to ad it at the last moment otherwise how do u know there is any at all if it is not there all the time?

  • @Estertje93 yeah that´s what I think is good for ballett. If your beneath that you might not have enough strength to train! Those girls look healthy and skinny so I think that´s a great mixture! thanks ;)

  • @littlesheep11 I would say, between 45 and 55 kilo´s, it highly depends on your muscle quantity and bone structure. i think your BMI (body mass index) shouldn't go below 15 points.. that would be unhealthy

  • ho first those are some GREAT dancers. I have a question though, :) what do you think a dancer should weigh (kilos) with the height of 169 cm?

  • I've never seen anyone really show 'passion' when doing barre work. I mean, come on. It's barre work. It's like telling a piano player to show passion when playing a scale. Ridiculous.

  • I just sat staring at the screen with my mouth open. They make me seem like a horrible dancer. They are amazing! Well time to go practice now.

  • I want to be like them! they are so amazing

  • the one on the right is probably my teacher...

  • hermosas...!!!

  • @Alicia01201998 You probably have some weakness in pelvic girdle area & need to work on strengthening abdomen, adductor & abductor muscles. If you have access to a gym with an ad/ab piece, build up the reps with LOW weights ONLY. (it should be done sitting down). Ads & abs are on the innner & outer thigh & the gym machine is one of the VERY FEW shortcuts female ballet dancers should use! Do not build up the quads or you will look like an Olympic sprinter, not a sylph! Do sit-ups slowly. LOL

  • theyre perfect
