In this video, you can follow along with the various callouts (as Camtasia Studio 7 calls them) and understand the rogue program RegGenie. Once scanned with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, there is one report that the uninstaller (which remains on you computer, following the removal of the main program) is actually a spyware module. Simply deleting this will corrupt the file and leave your computer safe for another day! [=

LINKS:

Music: I obtained it off of KeygenMusic.net, and the song was produced by EDGE and is called "Norton 2007."

KeygenMusic.net

RegGenie: Only dowload this, if you have a virtual machine and all the precautions necessary for downloading rogues:

RegGenie.com

Furthermore . . .

I apologize for the fact that the song finished nearly 15 seconds before the end of the video. The reason why that occurred was because I planned the song to loop, but this never happened. =[

ANYWAY, have a marvelous day and please stay safe on the Internet! [=

  • reg genie is real reg cleaner now. it used to be fake

  • @billyhope02 Are you sure? The website looks the same as it was in July of 2010, and bad reports still exist on Cnet and MyWOT. Only sketchy sources seem to honor RegGenie.

  • whats the song?

  • @billyhope02 It is posted in the description.

A song from KeygenMusic(dot)net from an artist named Edge whose song is named "Norton 2007." In the video is a fastened version of that song. (=

  • Instead of deleting files, try downloading and installing Malwarebytes!

Malwarebytes is a hit!...it can detect and wipe out EVERYTHING that another antivirus can't detect. Watch SuperMitch1995's version of this video for more information.

NOTE: It doesn't have limited trials, but its STILL a trial (a permanent one.) If you don't want any trials, get Avast.

  • @imseanyoung After the vdideo... I did use Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to terminate the program. It wasn't recorded because the procedures are straightforward, and I even linked the viewers to a download of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware in the description.

~I use it every week. (:
