This storage system is fantastic. It should be noted that the width can be decreased to one (though it still needs the buffer of one space between other minecart devices, so you can't put two thin models side by side) by routing the return track under the line of carts keeping the design compact by taking advantage of the bug that minecarts can pass through blocks on a diagonal track). It takes a bit of finesse to get the access right, but it looks and works great. Thanks, Seth!
