In the US version Indio has the voice of Paul Frees who dubbed many Italian actors in Spaghetti Westerns, most notably Gian Maria Volonte in A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More and actor Aldo Giuffrè the alcoholic Union Army captain in the Sergio Leone film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly in 1966....and Gabriele Ferzetti's Mr. Morton character in Once Upon a Time in the West .

@mrsalzano Do you know the name of the voice for the American version?
-
For the italian version of the movie, Gazzolo certainly was the voice of Indio.
-
@mrsalzano That's the man who's the real voice of Indio?
-
The actor is Nando Gazzolo, one of the most important italian dubber.

@mrsalzano Just watching this alone tells me what you say is true!
@ StanBennet : Fortunately in his filmography There's more than just "the Indio". He was a real Chameleon!
