He served on the Editorial Board of the Matrimonial Strategist and has contributed articles on trial tactics, AIDS, and other topics. He was the founding Chairperson of the Divorce and Family Law Section of the Memphis Bar Association and co-founder of the Family Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association.
