And here's something I wrote on the subject:
God is a personality. The ultimate personality. Just like we all have our individual personalities, God's is the perfect one. We are the same thing as God, but at the same time can be separate. Just like drops of water from the sea can exist individually as droplets (People), but collectively are called the sea (God). In addition to this, the sea isn't just known as a collection of drops, it's known as an entity in itself. The properties or the sea and it's drops are the same, they can be both the same thing and yet different all at once. Hence why I wanted to use this song... "(We're all) drops of Miracle in the Rain"...

Jesus is Lord. Only those who come through Jesus can get to God. Repent for your sins and accept his blood redemption at the cross. Trust in Jesus to save you. If you do not, your spirit will spend eternity in hell. You can't worship self and worship Jesus. There is only one way to heaven.

As such, I don't believe consciousness is everlasting, but if that works for you then go for it.

@BradOFarrell have you ever thought about the origin of idea's, if it's all instinct, then it's action reaction, and means it's all predestined. But if you actually make choices, then it means there's no such thing as fate.
