Lord Shani Dev Vandana By Karaan Jodhani

Shani is one of the Navagraha which are the nine primary celestial beings in Hindu astrology. Shani is embodied in the planet Saturn. Shani is the Lord of Saturday; the word Shani also denotes the seventh day or Saturday in most Indian languages.
Shani is a Deva and son of Surya and his wife Chhaya and hence also known as Chayyaputra. He is the elder brother of Yama, the Hindu God of death, who in some scriptures corresponds to the deliverance of justice.
Karan Jodhani presnts his rigrous devotion to this lord shani in one of his stage performnaces. Karan is a maestro of Contemporary Indian classical dances. Karan is disciple of Sarju mohan Maharajah and has learnt kathak dance for about 6 years from Allahabad Prayag Sangeet Samiti - Allahabad(Directorate of Distance Education). Karaan has been awarded with various national recognitions and has staged his performances at very renowned institutions of dance in India. Karan did his graduation in English Literature and is Post gradute in Journalism and mass communications from St. Xaviers College - Mumbai. Karaan is presently in mumbai and is practicing the contemporary art of classical dancing along with his main stream profession of Media Consultant .
