@eyelesskiller8 Yes these are identical to the Cadillac Flathead V8 hydraulic valve lifters. I followed your steps on how to clean them and they turned out great.
Video should state how inspect and clean hydraulic valve lifters for a cadillac flathead.

@TheWicho46 no aircraft parts are different then car parts.

Are these lifters similar to the CADILLAC flathead V8 346C.I.

@bmm1793 Don't know what it is... I know my lifters sound different than what I'm hearing in your video, a brighter tick, less of a knock. The same rhythm though, which means it has to do with the cam shaft, valves or anything in between. That's my best guess. Any news from the last 8 months?

iv got a 1994 EF XR8 302 she had a ticking noise that got worse and the instant it got worse she started missing, the rods the valves and the rocker arms are all fine so im about to pull the manifold off and check the lifters and the cam, its a CRANE cam so im hoping all its lobes are still intact. but if the hydraulic lifters were completely shagged would this disturb the intake or outlet valves enough to cause a cylinder to miss?? im no mechanic im a farmer

Very nice
These lifters are out of a Lycoming aircraft engine. Although the operation is the same for any hydraulic style lifter
