  • Mine looks just like that, except i have a spoiler on the back

  • What a beautiful car! Bill Mitchell was really on a roll when he designed this line for GM. Another of his creations, the Corvette Stingray, was also introduced and sold to the public in '63.

My Dad bought my Mom a '63 Riviera that year, cream white with tan leather seats. I remember saying at the time, "They can't make a car any more luxurious than this!" Just a beautiful, classic design! Thanks for the video!

  • just like ours we used to have accept with black interior

  • @UTAHnmaz i know htat feeling. ive sold one myself. was 100% stock. one of the better cars that ive owned. i stlil MISS that car ALOT

  • Great car.. great video. Thanks.

  • The late Dusty Springfield had a 1964 Riviera much the this one in color

  • My grandad had the '63 in the medium blue. i don't know what kinda engine, but after the car hit 55 mph, it started making noise, a clicking noise, don't know what it was. When he sold it in 77, he got a vega station wagon in trade. Grandma never let him live that one down

  • I'v been watching n loving cars since a kid ithe mid fifties. The 63 Riv is one of the top 5 best looking cars of the last 50 years. maybe no 1

  • I totally agree with you ctronjock, a 63 Riv is WAY better than the later "boat tail" Rivs. Lot's of people like the 65's best, and I used too, but I now like the exposed headlights of 63-4 better. Also, the styling was ahead of it's time in 63...by 65 the other makers were starting to catch up.

Hey what's the value of a car like this in good (-2 or +3 ) condition? I might trade off some of my old cars....
