Two and a half weeks in Cuenca, Ecuador 2011. Clean air, nice people, good food, lots of walking. Our best vacation ever.

@George - Thanks for the nice comment about Justin. He is, indeed, a great guy. BUT, you should have known him when he was a teenager. :-) He made it home (Texas) for Christmas and he stayed until last week so he could hook up with Gaby Ordonez. She was in the USA to interview for residency positions at various hospitals. She visited with us for a few days and she and Justin flew back to Cuenca together this past Sunday.

@BarnettLevon ... You know, hate can be pretty ugly. Where are you from? Looks like Armenia and Uruguay are places you love. Instead of using foul words, why don't you give an intelligent reason or your opinion why you feel this way... telling someone to get the FUCK OUT really says more about you than anything else....

Great photos and video. That's our son, Justin, on the right, at the front of the bus. We're hoping to get to Cuenca within the next couple of months. Of course, we'll be staying at Casa Ordonez.

@RodInLouisiana Your son is a great guy. We met him while we were at Casa Ordonez.... Last time I emailed him he was still in Ecuador. That was about 60 days ago... Hope he is well. Take care.
