Awesome...this song hits you like a hammer! Wish I'd had been alive to see them play it live! Question: the version I've got on my 'Rainbow Rising' CD doesn't have that synth pad during the riff, or the sound effects on the drum fills in this version. Why??

Back in 1989 I was 15 yo and heard this song on the radio. It was played on a national metal show called (I believe Buzzsaw). The signal was weak but the chorus was always on my mind. I didn't catch the title of the song. I wanted to know who the artist was but it was until 2010 that I heard this on Sirius radio. I flipped me out and played the the outro about a dozen times. It gets me all the time. RIP DIO \M/

If I pop my clogs tomorrow I hope my Son gets to appreciate this song for what it is. How old is this now? I loved this as the best song ever to listen to as you were decending into the most relaxing sleep ever, once your Soul was cleansed after hearing the best tune in the world. Peace out !!
