Update on HRT 20 months

Just an update on my HRT and voice, actually funny. I do mean train your voice to be more natural sounding. I don't believe in doing the surgery, we should all be proud of who we are as women.

Super interesting! I have been on T for 8 months now. My voice has dropped but I realize that I still speak automatically use my throat as you described women do.. I have not learnt to use my chest to vibrate the sound as you described men tend to do. I also realized I use the higher tone because I am not 'out'. I knew a sis-gendered man France who spoke through his noise and thus his voice was high. I asked him one day why he did it and he answered that he found it sounded less threatening!.

Great video. It's reassuring to hear you talk about the awkwardness being normal. I think we all go through that and wonder if we'll just never make it. Even though we logically know that all learning has an awkward beginning, it's still very helpful to hear a mentor telling reassuring us. It makes a difference. Thank you. (btw, congratulations on making such a positive video despite the news you recently got from the guy you were seeing. That's a skill I lack, but admire greatly).
