Chicago's West Loop Greektown neighborhood centers mainly on Halsted Street from Van Buren St on the south to Monroe St on the north.

Greektown is a vibrant area of restaurants, shopping, nightlife, residential and commercial buildings and the newly built, National Hellenic Museum that opened last December.

Longtime Chicagoan and real estate agent Nicholas Apostal of Coldwell Banker's Apostal Group dines at least once a week in Greektown and shares some of his favorite places in this sponsored video.

    Shouldn't most of the video's subject matter be related to non-restaurant content? "Chicago's Greektown offers more than just food" but here's a 7:30 min video with 6:45 min addressing restaurants and food related businesses.

    Went to Greektown last year in August 2012. I loved it being a Greek from Melbourne. Stayed 2 days which wasn't enough. Going back for a few extra days this year again before going to Mimi then NYC and Boston. I went o the Greek Islands Restaurant a few times a loved it! Heard that a Mr. Koutsoyiorga owns it and he comes Dom the village next to us in Lakonia Greece. Small world hey? nickfountas@yahoo.com
