  • ey, thanks man.. really helhed a lot! but whats the theoratical difference of blowing and breathing in in the harp? just startet playin after i saw this vid.. so ive only been in progress for about 2 hours.. :)

  • You want me to explain theory in a You Tube video after you have been playing 2 hours?

  • hey, awesome video it's really helpful. i wuz wondering though, ur harp sounds a lot deeper and grittier than my c harp. is that due to just being broken in or why exactly? and if it is could u give me some way to break mine in or give it that dirty feel?

  • It;s in your foundation: your embouchure, your breathing, and your articulation. These are secrets

you can get at my website.

  • Fantastic. Beginner who is finding his groove thanks to you!! Maybe see you in Beantown in September. Thanks so much!!!

  • Thnaks and I sure hope to see you at Jam Camp! Included with Jam Camp is a free phone consultation/lesson that can really move you ahead.

    you ahead.

  • This was very helpful thanks so much!!! just a suggestion: it would be really cool if you could upload a few vids of your blues guitar for people to play the harp along too.. or could you recommend any music out there that is suitable for beginners blues!?

  • outstanding, only had my hohner silver star for one day and I can now play a one note jam

  • I've been struggling the with the harp for a while you've opened it up for me! A million thanks you's to you sir!

  • I just experienced a massive enlightment during this lesson. Jon, you are indeed an inspirating character and the way you teach is just right. A very happy-looking and sounding person you are too. The "Let's hear you go" was a real culmination for me! Thank you.

  • what are the used chords for the guitar ?

  • Gindick, I simply love your lessons... they encourage my love for this instrument en greatly enhance my playing. Keep this up, you're actually having an influence on people's lives here :)

  • Great lesson, wish I'd had it long ago, the basics are so important. Really love your vibe, your enjoyment is infectious.

  • So simple and profound. Remember the foundation.

  • @JamCamp06 Mr Gindick, greetings from Bonnie Scotland. You have been an absolute inspiration to me since I stumbled across your vids. My harp playin is going places I never thought it would. Changed my whole style to lazy open mouthed single note playing and it's worked a treat. Long way to go so keep the vidz comin as jamcamp a bit far away, more's the pity!!! Peace bro.

  • Wow, as soon as you start going between one draw and four draw, it sounds awesome, and it's basically the same note! :O

This is the single most useful lesson I've seen on YouTube to this date, and I'm only half way through it. I feel like I have a solid foundation to start improvising from now.

    Great lesson, thanks!

  • thank you very much
