I always end up with useless people on my team. ( not to be an ass ). I use the soflam a lot but in most games I let the people in my squad know I'm using it. But the rather corner camp with the support class. It's free kills. I do what I can to win but there's way to many support classes now.

@omegaxtrigun Lol, I wish fuel was the issue... Fuel is definitely not the issue when it does 5 loops around the helicopter and still won't hit. My tank guided missles ALWAYS hit, nothing else does.

@gametitan88 Well, sometimes they do miss even when fully locked. I'm pretty sure the rockets have a limited fuel supply, and if they fly too far away, it runs out and misses. Hell, sometimes it blows up near them but didn't actually hit them.

@SLADEizGOD i agree most of the time no1 tries to shoot air support down then im telling my team mates to use the soflam so i can shoot the shit down and they start screaming at me ..? what do you play on? :d

@omegaxtrigun They're definitely not using IR flares. And even so, I'm fairly sure that IR flares don't work on any guided missle, since it technically is using soflams to lock on, and not the vehicles heat signature.

@12mhunter Using the javelin normally, it can lock onto ground vehicles only. The laser painting allows it to lock onto air vehicles, and when a ground vehicle is painted, it makes the javelin fly up and then down on top of the vehicle. Also, when the javelin is fired at a laser painted target, it bypasses ir flares/smoke.
