@TheBarty92, If you continue to ask him to speak to you, and you open your heart to what he has to say, you will begin to hear him. It might not always be the answer you were wanting, or may not be the way you thought he would speak to you, but he will speak to you. God will use anything to speak to his people. I mean, he used a burning bush to speak to Aaron. Don't be discouraged, just keep praying. (:

@TheBarty92, You are not a fail of a Christian! Everyone sins, everyone stumbles. If you recognize you are sinning, and you ask Jesus to help you with it, that's all you need to do. Jesus died so we could sin, and be able to ask for forgiveness. I think some times we don't think that God is speaking to us because we think there is a certain way he is going to do it. We are so wrapped up in wanting to hear him speak that we don't realize he is already speaking to us, and we are missing it.
