Allan Ure completed the 2011 adidas Auckland Marathon, for Muscular Dystrophy, in a one piece leather motorcycle racing suit and a full face motorcycle helmet.

@R2C13 200m more than I'd budgeted for! I didn't end up getting the medal on the day. The organisers kindly posted me one the following week :-D

well done! i saw u just before u turned to do the 2nd half (did the half myself) - couldn't believe someone would attempt a marathon in full leathers! good luck for ur length of NZ run :D
