They finally write to Moore strengths and he is brilliant in the film. I just wish they gave his more drama at times, cause he is quite capable at it.

This is probably Roger Moore's best outing as Bond. No campiness involved in here, just pure genius.

@frankfrmshamless You are stupid.
-
That would be so epic if you could prove who was the best Bond by using science.
-
@whitbyjet65 I agree with you completely
-
@bigzooweek When he kicked the car over the cliff in For Your Eyes Only, I knew that was the true Bond.

I gotta admit Moore's Bond films Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, A View to a Kill had some of my favorite songs.
-
@baldridgeda81 That's probably because Roger moore was the best Bond.

In my opinion The Best Bond Movie ever made

I'm a little surprised that you didn't mention the pre-credits sequence explicitly. (I realise a review isn't meant to discuss every single aspect of a film) This was definitely the point at which that part of the film really became a highlight of the films. Just think of the pre-credits from L&LD and TMWTGG and then the pre-credits of the movies after TSWLM. I take your point about re-creating FRWL, but 'Spy' always reminded me more of YOLTwice in terms of plot and scale of production.

I love this movie. The ONLY thing that I didn't like was the casting and acting of Barbra Bach. She is one of the loveliest Bond girls ever but her fake as hell Russian accent is the only killer for me, and how they turned her caractor into that dumb woman who always has to rely on Bond to save her.

@TheSamsungSamurai its a guy called michael billington, was supose to play bond after old roger in octopussy but they felt old roger would stand a better chance in the battle with never say never again against sean connery. shame he never got the chance to play bond as roger was getting very old in the 80s!

0:36 Thats not Roger Moore im not sure if its supposed to or not

@NecroVMX Total asshole with web fingers LOL He’s a fucking nutter!
I guess Strongberg got the point being shot hardcore in the bollocks!
Last time I saw TSWLM was at the Empire Leicester Square, in Dolby cinema digital custom JBL 56KW THX sound system on the largest THX screen in Europe with biggest THX sound system as well! The director Lewis Gilbert was there and got a picture of myself standing next to him in the lobby.

Triple X isn't a character from the book, the movie was an entirely original concept. It does deal with a canadian girl and it tells a bit about her past, and she does narrate it. basically she's caretaking a resort and these two thugs show up to burn it and her along with it and collect insurance money, bond happens to be stopping by with a flat tire and rescues her.
