  • heej, is this repaint voor de default boeing 747-400? if it is, can you please sent me the file. i have tried to make one by my self but it dit not work very well, plese reply, greetings

  • Hi,

This repaint is not based on the default 747-400, although the flight characteristics are similar. At the moment, I cannot post a download link because I'm still negotiating with Martinair about a virtual Martinair in FSX. If this becomes reality, then of course the download link will become available somewhere. This will include also the MD-11 and all Martinair Flightschool aircraft such as the Piper Seminole, TB10, TB20 etc.

If there is any news, I'll let you know.

  • Nice video!! But your fsx has a bad quality...

  • Actually, I run FSX on the highest resolution possible and all graphics on full maximum!! The point is, I use an extension pack for the Netherlands, but because it uses satellite photos from google earth for the ground, the resolution of the ground is very low. Therefore, the quality of the ground is not very nice on the ground, but from the air it looks stunning (see 1.38 and 1.50). Best regards :)

  • how can you use the rudder???

  • hey very nice vid! you talking dutch? if so, I don't mind if you do.

my question is: do you know where I can find a realistic and free Martin Air aircraft? (or just the paint, doesn't matter)

  • mag ik een downloadlink of zoiets van dit vliegtuig

  • Hi, I hope it works out! It ain't that difficult. Maybe the most difficult part is editing the images with Adobe Photoshop or any other photo editing program. If you're familiar with these kind of programs, then it should be no problem to design your own aircraft :) I wish you lots of success and please let me know if it works out :)

  • Ok thank you, I will try!

    (This is my other account)

  • Well, it's quite a long process. But in the Simobjects > Airplanes and then texture folders of each aircraft, you find images of the aircraft. These files are mostly of .dds format, which you should convert to bmp using the program DXTbmp. Make it a bmp and change the texture using Adobe Photoshop or Coral Draw etc. When you're finished, change the bmp's back to the .dds format using DXTbmp and change the old files with your new ones. Then you can view the aircraft in FSX. Hope this helps :)
