Got ma 3d model ready but not sure where to start from, I want to apply texture, normal map, opacity, specular and diffuse map, can any one please tell me what should be applied first? does normal comes first or the texturing n other maps?, I have finished unwrapping my model.

for the texture to update on the model, you may have to reaply it to the diffuse map by browsing back to the new overwritten one.

ha yeah still use the print screen button a bit

hahahaha i just figured out how i used to do uvw's :) i was taught that just pressing print screen was the way to go and then just resize the cropped image in photoshop

hi mate,
Try saving out your uvw as a TIFF and setting the blend mode to screen.
Dont have to mess with opacity then. Sometimes you have to save the uvw colours* as different to default depending on the colours of your diffuse.
