Mika CKC Agility trial July 26, 2008

This was a really awesome trial! It was lots of fun! It was a CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) trial and we were entered in two runs. Luckily it was cloudy so it didn't get hot at all!

Novice Jumpers with Weaves
Yay Mika! She was amazing! Her weaves were AWESOME and she was going really fast! A couple wide turns because she almost went off course, but whatever. Perfect score, Q, 1st in 12", and 1st in Novice!

Novice Standard
WOW Mika! Loved this run! Again, amazing speed! She trotted over most of the DW...probably because I've been handling it differently than I do at home. So I'll handle it the same way I do at home at future trials. I was amazed at her teeter, I didn't know if she would run to the end and stop to wait for it to tip, but she did! Didn't quite want to Sit on the table, but HUGE improvement from our June trial where she didn't even want to get up from the table. Awesome A-frame, she even did a little jump over the apex! It was kind of weird at the end because the course ended in between the two gates, so she couldn't really find me at first LOL! Perfect score, Q, and 1st place in 12"! She was HALF a SECOND from being 1st place in Novice, but a 20" dog got that! (Then again, the runs were timed by a manual timer, not electronic.) but I loved this run!
