  • Couldn't you give him an EEG or MRI?

  • he is skinny, maybe that's the problem

  • He looks so sad!

  • This is one of the tragedies of humans putting large aniamls who, in the world, demandd hundreds to thousands of sq.kilometers, in small 20 by 30 sq.meter enclosures. You disrupt their normal & intricate social behaviors, by putting together non-compatible individuals, or isolating them for years in cage-like enclosures... Feeding them well is not everything. The pacing behavior & exhibition of psychosis in animals show that they yearn to be free, to move around as they want, just like we do...

  • Saw him in July and it was mentioned he may have epilepsy. Poor lion looked so lonely on his own.

  • There is no animal page on the zoossa website for the Persian Leopard nor Videos here.

Please try to draw attention to this endangered animal!.

  • I hope you find the cause and a cure for his seizures, but, in the meantime, Mujambi is a very lucky lion to have such loving care.

  • It's so sad about this, it obviously could be worse if the lioness had done more to him when he had his first seizure in their presence, but it's still such a shame to know that it's really the only thing holding him back from being in with the two females. I wish you the best of luck with finding the cause of the seizures and I hope something can be found which will help control/reduce them.

  • Wishing you the best of luck with Mujambi. Unfortunately, these things happen from time to time but it's a good thing that he has people like you looking out for his best interests.
