Very few couls lay a down a "bed of sound" like these blokes.
CW rarely played this song live - most unfortunate. I was always hoping to bask in the utter beauty of this remarkable epic song!

"Ferment" was easily the best album of 1991, IMO.
"Salt" is my favorite song on the album, even edging out "Black Metallic"

greatest track on this album...I agree is a toss up with Chrome...but I have to say chrome....but both have amazing songs just depends on the mind set

Ferment and Chrome is a toss up for me! Both albums are excellent. I have to say that Texture was my favorite song on Ferment. IMO. =)

They are headed to Austin Texas next month. Hopefully i can catch them on this side of the pond. 3 hour drive from Houston.

They are playing in Austin Texas next month and I hope I get to catch them on this side of the pond (three hour drive from Houston -- but worth it as long as i can get a kitchen pass). Always a big fan.

their best song IMO by some distance. saw them live when i was 15 and they blew me away, remember getting home with my t-shirt virtually hanging off me. a great (if somewhat unappreciated) band
