What song is this?

@noplaceioi Why comment on a comment made a year ago??
-
@JOHNOOH it is also referred to as The Upa...
-
They're interconnected. The upa is almost identical to a bridge, what matters is the speed and intensity.
An upa is a rapid buck (what it actually means) to simply move someone out of position.
The bridge is the full measure, more controlled and angled. There were actually both upas and a bridge in this video....two upas and then a bridge.

Great video. It was good to see the thoughts about how they directly related to BJJ.
Of course, you can't see someone do a Turkish Get Up and not thing of BJJ (if you've ever done it).

Great techniques and awesome video! :) What's the name of the song?

Upa is portugese for bridge. In Brazil they speak portugese. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Japanese Judo, with Russian Kettlebells, and all in an American Dojo. See the international asskickn

this is the coolest video with the best music I've ever seen on youtube!!! As a fellow bjj practitioner I can honestly say that the workout is totally awesome for bjj. Next time I tap someone out I'll tell the that it was because of the extra time that I spent doing your workout!!! Thanks!!! and I gotta say that the music ROCKS!!!!!
