Franciscan Traditional Latin Mass in ArchBasilica -Part1

Highlights from the Solemn High Mass according to the Extraordinary Form, celebrated in Saint John Lateran Basilica, by the Franciscan Friars and Sisters of the Immaculate. All sacred music sung by the Friars and Sisters (Polyphony and Gregorian Chant) This is the first time that the Tridentine Mass has been celebrated in the pope's chair since Vatican II. Quite a magnificent site to behold!

why are people just walking around? tourists should learn that churches despite their beauty is a house of worship first.. and act appropriately... they cant do this in a mosque...

I am very sick at the moment and was priveliged to recieve anointing from a Franciscan friar at a Latin Mass a couple of weeks ago. May God abundantly bless these great men and cause many more holy aspirants to join their order.

@threerisingsuns Unless they received permission from the Pope, I thought only the Holy Fatherf could say mass at the main altar.

@lionel3fernandez No, you should read, to understand  the Church, for it was the Church which authorized the Bible as you know it, and which you use to discredit the same Church. Authority comes from Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and custom, not from interpreting Scripture as you like. Churches are embellished to give glory to God, and to uplift the heart and mind aesthetically. God is made manifest through many things, beauty being one of them. The early church approved of this.
