Original song and artwork by The HappyApe

Soft rocking beat....

Once upon a time in a house by a wood
Lived a little girl called red riding hood
She made cookies and set off from her home
She Walked and she skipped through the forest alone

G
Oh my what big big ears
C D
All the better to hear my dear
G
Oh my what big big eyes
C D
All the better to see you dear
G
Oh my what a big big nose
C D
All that the better to smell you dear
G
Oh my what big big teeth
C D
All the better to... eat you up!

She stopped to pick flowers and the day turned to night
Something moved in the dark and gave her a fright
"Where are you going to?" a big bad wolf said
"I'm off to see my gran" and the little girl fled

Later at granny's home there was a knock on the door
She opened up and the big bad wolf knocked her to the floor
he put her in the closet and locked it up tight
The big bad wolf put on her clothes; they fitted just right!

It was late when little red riding hood arrived
She put down her cookies, pulled her hood back and sighed
"I've had quite a fright" she could still feel the fear
The big bad wolf grinned, "Come closer, my dear"

The big bad wolf grabbed her but the little girl ducked away
He swung and he pounced but she kept him at bay
She swung her granny's axe and chopped off his tail
he howled and screamed and ran away with a wail
