Iphone 1.1.4 Customize Working FIX NEW

How To Get customize to work with 1.1.4 Iphone version. Posted March 09, 2008

For those of you that jailbreaked and want customize to work on your 1.1.4 Iphone then your in luck. I've did all the research to make it work. NOTE: The repo no longer carries it, why you ask? Well idk.. You tell me lol.


1) Jailbreak your phone. If you dont know how then google it. Its easy.

2) At this point you have two options. A) You can ssh into your iphone and open the /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist and change the version part of it from 1.1.4 to 1.1.3 . Or you can B) install the 1.1.4 to 1.1.3 change versions download. This will do the exact thing as ssh'ing into it. At the current moment I forgot were this source is, however I DO KNOW it exist. Will update with link in a few hours.

3) Download the "Orginal" customize. DONT RUN IT.. Once installed, exit installer and go back to installer after sliding slider ect.

4) Unistall customize "Orginal"(DO NOT RUN IT). All were trying to do it create the folder.

5) Then download customize 1.1.3 edited/modded using this source repository (up to date as of 03/09/08), type http://ipodtouched.net/repo.xml(Took along while to find) .

6)After it installs restart the iphone, and click it. It will load, make sure to keep tapping the screen while it shows "Spicy Chicken".

7)Bam your in. Check out the youtube video also.

please i install de modded customize but when i open the customize, it dont show the images for changing baterry, calculator, power bar etc...is all white without images to chance

I will post later on tonight a detailed video on how to MAKE your own theme. ::)))

1.) Open Installer.

2.) Tap Install in Installer.

3.) Scroll all the way down to "themes(customize)" CLICK it.

4.) When you TAP it you will see a whole bunch of files. EX: Borat Sound Set, Halo Image set.

5.) Download the ones you want.

6.) Then exit installer goto customize and new bat icons, ect should all be there. Im posting two new vid's on this Ill link with this post later. Happy Hack nm I mean customizing)

my modded customize has a problem though.. when i do use it, i can get past the spicy chicken but when i click on something to customize theres nothing there, i see icons like dock background nd icon display order, its jz when i press on them theres nothing that comes up.. can someone please help??

Yeah, I know. Its a thing you installed called "dock". It allows you to pull out a list of your apps and choose one. If you don't want it anymore go to Uninstall and uninstall "dock".

when i try to install appsnap on my iphone all that comes up is a square with a question mark in side of it.

do you know how to fix this?
