  • Very interesting video, wish it wasn't so abruptly truncated at the end, while you were speaking. Personally, it did take a little while, not too long, for me to fall in love with my baby when he was first born. He's 3 now and we have a wonderful and strong relationship, but when he was in my body compared to out of it, there was a transition and it took a while for us both to figure it out.

  • I believe the thoughts continue in segment 01/07.03, thank you for sharing!

  • My school uses the computer babies in 8th grade but I switched schools so I never did it. I agree, it is a good idea. I'm n a child development class now [I'm in 11th grade] and we did a unit on post-partum depression and baby blues.

  • Wow - that sounds quite progressive for 11th grade. It's more than most people who are about to give birth generally know. Good for you Rainydays!

  • Correction: Meant to say "How beneficial would it be to go home with a newborn BABY DOLL that's gonna cry, etc..." duh!

  • my ex wife had postpartum pregnancy, I think I'd have ppd if I imprenated me.

believe it or not, I now have primary custody.

  • mamarama , you have the potential to be a Mamacita......hot

  • I am a PPD Mommy and I have read the Book from Brooke shields and many other. I have to say I felt more connected to Brooke then to the other authors. Just like that feeling ...you can tell she is been there.

  • No, people don't really understand what having a newborn means until it happens to them. That's why "A Baby Story" on TLC needs to be "A Postpartum Family's Story." Heck, maybe they have something like this already? I have an antenna. Ha.
