One Week

This was a film my best friend Bill! Berg and I made my final year at Shimer College. It is similar in comedic styles of Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, The Marx Brothers, Fatty Arbuckle, etc... and cartoons like Betty Boop, and Popeye the Sailor It essentially is a silent comedy. (There is only one piece of dialogue in the whole film, and that is with a pair of shoes.)

We made the film over a period of one week for Bill's semester project. (I, oddly enough, did not have to make a semester project as I was writing a thesis at th time.) Bill failed to gain honors on the film even though we put a terrible amount of time, effort, thought and money into the film.

Later Bill wrote an essay detailng how, as I told him during the film, "You have trouble realting to objects."

The film is scored by Perry Como, Ben Selvin, Dick Hymen, Groucho Marx and Franz List
