Here's a Fender '72 Reissue Thinline Tele. It's a 2004, totally stock, near mint, and made in Mexico. Excuse it (the Tele) for being slightly out of tune...it was a one take kind of thing with a "live" loop...so I let it slide. Most of this demo is with the Tele played on the "Burn" channel of my Fender Super Sonic amp and I vary the distortion by playing dynamics and with the volume and tone controls...I play it clean at the very end to show that off as well...this guitar is awesome! This demo also showcases the Mbrace Stand...which I also sell ($61.99 including shipping to the U.S.). They work on any guitar or bass that has 2 strap buttons. I start off by making a "live" loop with my Taylor 712(E) featuring an old set of Thomastik Plectrum AC111 strings...these have been my favorite strings for over 10 years now because they last so long, sound so good, and play like electric strings (they go for $15.95 plus $2.00 for shipping to the U.S. for a new set). I said 6 months in the video but they are actually 8 months old...still sound pretty good, still hold their tune, and are still flexible!

I made the "live" loop with the Taylor as a "drum set" and an acoustic guitar (I'm learning this Boss loop station in front of you...my viewers/audience and having a lot of fun/being inspired at the same time). I then jam over it...first showing off the Tele...it's range of sounds and versatility...then alternating leads at the end...easily switching between both guitars (dueling guitars kind of thing) thanks to the Mbrace stand...I have an idea for 2 of them coming soon...so stay tuned (Subscribe)!

I sell lots of used guitars and basses (both here and on eBay...same name there...100% positive feedback) and I'm a dealer for the Mbrace stands and also Thomastik-Infeld strings (although I don't carry the full line...just what I use myself for the most part...). Let me know if there is something you want/write me if you're interested...use the send a message link on my channel page.

Also...Guitars Wanted as I'm always looking for more guitars...I buy/sell/trade 'em.

The Tele is plugged straight into my same old rig (no effects at all)...a Fender Super Sonic combo with an Avatar 2x12 all loaded with 12" Hellatone 30's. The Taylor (and the acoustic loop...done with a Boss RC20XL) was plugged into a Marshall AS-50R amp. Any questions, just ask...

Here is a link to my current eBay auctions if you are interested...

Thanks for watching!

  • @MrBavelaar I use both (or an acoustic AND an electric) thanks to the Mbrace stand! If I can only take one guitar along though, it is the acoustic...

  • @kkppffww Thanks!

  • @bingin15 either get something older/used (with a 12" speaker and with 75+ watts so you can jam with drums...maybe an older Peavey Bandit...) or maybe just a really nice small/portable/battery (and/or AC w/adapter) style amp like the Roland Cube or Vox DA-5's...

  • @greengtrs i don't want to get something too excessive so somewhere up to 150.

  • @bingin15 What is your budget?

  • what kind of amp would you recommend for a beginner/amateur?

  • @bingin15 It was a great guitar...it had that natural resonance that I love (I choose almost all of my guitars before I ever plug them in) and it still had that classic Fender twang...somehow even with humbuckers...

    Thanks for watching!

  • whoa this sounds beautiful even without the amp! what a great guitar
