This is a video dedicated to Christoph Von alvensleben one of the best freeride snowmobilers in the world who died Febuary 15th 2008 in an Avalanch on turnagain Pass Alaska. It changed the world of snowmobiling and he really impacted snowmobiling and will always be remembered.

Never met the guy but backcountry riders no matter if they know each other or not feel for each other when that thought that always sits at the backs of our minds finally happens, some one gets killed.. this back country riding we do isn't dangerouse until we see or hear of someone getting fucked up or dead. To us its just riding, we live for it and also many of us may die for it. Love our sport and respect our sport. BACK COUNTRY FOR LIFE AND EVEN AFTER LIFE. R.I.P.

Jeremy Stark and Christoph von Alvensleben were featured in backcountry snowmachining films.

Both men, who died Friday when an avalanche poured down a mountain at Turnagain Pass, lived to snowmachine in Alaska's backcountry, said friends and family members. They loved the snow. They loved riding. They loved being extreme.
