I can inform you that Richard and Wendy is married and neither of them is dead :)

They are both alive, Wendy is 56 years old and Richard is 57. They live in America

I never read much of it, my sister had the first book but the store didn't get the other ones and the first book got lost when we moved. I would love too read it though :)

  • Elfquest! I worked for an animation studio that was trying to get the rights to do an Elfquest movie...a looooooooonnnnnnggggg time ago.

Weren't all the Elfquest comics B&W???

  • I became familiar with Elfquest when I was a teenager and Marvel reprinted part of the series on their "Epic" imprint. Never read the originals yet...I think Marvel only ran about 35 issues of their series. I'd like to know how to track down the originals. And great post, btw.

  • Ok, so you know Richard and Wendy Pini ( pronounced Pee-Nee) are not dead and they do not publish any more new stories, just trade paperbacks or hardcovers. Wendy was the artist and Richard and her wrote the stories. The studio is in Poughkeepsie, NY and literally about a 4 minute drive from my house. I have met them both and they are nice people. I might even have a few dozen of their books laying around somewhere....

  • No need to be sorry :)

  • elf quest was awesome, i think it branched off into alot of different side stories that I couldn't afford at the time. It would make a great movie or tv series.

  • A cousin of mine read Elf Quest aswell. I read a bit of it and it made me weepy. You're not alone hun
