Richard Deacon is an eminent British sculptor and recipient of the prestigious Turner Prize in 1987, best known for his monumental works constructed from everyday materials such as laminated plywood and steel. In this interview, Richard speaks about his residency at the Singapore Tyler Print Institute (STPI) in 2011 and shares his experience of going beyond his usual practice and translating his conceptual investigations using paper and print.
