I've coined these "ELEVATOR" helicopters because precise throttle control of the Havoc Heli can be easily had by following these instructions.
Also Batteries and forward flight is explained, by popular request.

The aluminum stickers worked for me to get it flying forward, I didn't want it to fly fast.
I figured it ate batteries fast, so I just jerry-rigged an AC/DC adapter to the transmitter as soon as I bought it.
What I'm trying to figure out is a way to compensate for the torque so it will turn left reliably. Maybe hanging a weight from it to act as a damper.

I've never been able to successfully control mine. I suppose more practice is in order. My friend has a more expensive rig with a cyclic and I flew that sucker with ease.

what are the best kind of AA batteries to use for ir helicopters. I recently bought an air hog helix 360 and what to know in uour opinion what battery will give the best performance

I got quite disapointed with these, by the time I learnt basically how to fly it, it had fallen so many time it made my copter go in circles so rapidly it wont come off the ground anymore. Bad purchase!
