amazing how did you train them?
-
that is awesome!!!
-
O_O how did you train them, they are so hard to interact with!
-
@relmmih6 What are you doing? Why are you being so cruel? This lady, obviously loves birds, and having fun with them, so please try to be a little kinder with your comments.
-
That was amazing! How did you train them to fly on command?
-
Great job! I've managed to do so too. My zebra's are out in the yard and they fly all over the neighborhood and return home. If you are interested, go to You Tube and search for Hawaiidoves, then search for "zebra finches drinking salt water". Please let me know what you think? Mahalo, Dennis

I do this exact thing with my zebras too, it took them a bit of time to figure out the door of their old cage since it was so small, but they have a much larger one now with a similar opening to yours there.
I had a bit of trouble getting the first finch to stay in when I moved my hand round the back to get the second in, used to scare them out again sometimes!
Won't be having this problem anymore with the new cage!

I would love to see another ...do you have a video of your finches. I think it is just too cool that they can come out with the bigger birds and play

buahaha..this is so stupid, finch will always get back in to the cage, they dont like being outside of it.

Actually my finches are out of their cage every day for at least 2 hours if not more. They go into other cages and take baths in them. They are trained to stay in the living room only.
