Well, for drums, make sure your heads are tuned how you want them,
and don't ~ring when you hit them. Use any muffle device you want, but
ringing drums KILL a recording. As far as the actual recording goes, I
just use my cam-corder. No external mic's. It was just a matter of experimenting
where the amp is placed in conjunction with the camera. Record/listen/adjust as needed.
