General Hospital - 1993 Tracy says goodbye

After running down Jenny in a hit and run (it was an accident!), Edward orders her out of the house (again!) She says goodbye to Ned, Lila and AJ...but not Edward. Touching bit at the end with David Lewis. Probably one of the longest good-byes in GH!

I want everybody to stop hating on Tracy, yes she has her moments but deep down inside she is a good woman with good intentions to spear, she never was given a chance to prove herself to run ELQ because she was a woman so she had no other choice to be selfish or money-hungry!

I think she's like most of the Quartermaines...they have a really nasty streak (and scary in some cases) but they can show compassion as well. The bit where she tells AJ to stay clean...well, that's brilliant. Not a side we usually see. Like Alan, there's scary Alan and then lovable Alan. I think that's what makes the Quartermaines so popular and why they work so well. These days, the only scenes I enjoy are the Alan ghost scenes.

To me, Jane Elliot has always been the Susan Lucci of GH and its great that's she back on there as a current cast member now! The show should never be without her great acting talents.

I love scenes between Tracy and Ned but I get creeped out sometimes because they played lovers with a child on Days of Our Lives. Their names were Justin and Angelica. Creepy.

Wow. What happened to Tracy? What happened to this show in general? Such lazy writing nowadays, and crappy background music. Where did all the heart go? It's a shame to see what General Hospital has become since 2002.

the "faces of the heart" opening and closing credits, i REALLY miss that. i became a fan of GH in late summer 1993. so i missed the entire original Tracy run.

my favorite has always been Lucy.

i tell you who i really liked..... Ryan Chambertain. what a great psycho. when i first started watching there were alot of great villains on the show... Ryan, Damien, Katherine and Sonny, who was technically a villain at first.

I agree. I think GH continued to be the GH that I loved up till probably 1999 or 2000. GH started to change around then and really became something other than "my" GH in 2003 or so.

nah, GH continued to be good for a few more years after that IMO.
