A short video clip of Dr William Lane Craig explaining how the Qur'an distorts the image of the Historical Jesus. A book that sources it's material about Jesus from apocryphal gospels.
Dr. Craig asks...
''Which is more apt to be historically reliable? A collection of documents (The New Testament), which was written down within the first generation while the eyewitnesses where still alive, or, a book (The Qur'an) written 600 years later, by a man, who had not even any first hand contact with the New Testament''
Historical blunders like 'The Apocryphal Infancy Gospel of Thomas', which tells fictional stories of a young Jesus, has been proved to be a forgery. These documents were written in the second or third century, but these have found their way, along with others like it into the Holy Qur'an.
Dr Craig is a Christian Apologist, Philosopher, Theologian, and a New Testament Historian.
