SPDS False Trigger Problem

The SPDS is false triggering when I hit my 16" Floor Tom and sometimes with the 14" Floor Tom as well. Very problematic. I have a sample of the cow bell on each quarter note for one 4/4 measure. I use this for Pink Floyd Pigs (three different ones). If it false triggers to on early then I can't turn it on. If it false triggers while its on then It shuts off early.
