The new Flight electric bike really is a stunning machine. In this video, Yvonne takes the electric bike for a casual commute to work, whilst our resident roadie Byron sweats it out on his road bike.

Just got one of these a few weeks ago, and they're pretty awesome fun, I have to say. It's not all THAT easy going on steep inclines, you still need to put in a fair bit of effort (enough to work up a sweat), but if you can keep it to moderate inclines on your route, it's awesome. While the weather recently has tended towards hot and sticky, once things dry out a little, I think I'd be confident to go to uni/work without needing a shower at the other end - which makes it a viable alternative.

The bike won't last two minutes where I live. You come out to take it home and some kid has left you a $69 Chinese Magna in its place. You would need to pull the wheel motor and the battery pack of the bike every time you left it.
