I'm asking because, i have the guitar rig and amplitube and I plug the guitar directly to the computer and the sound wasn't clean..... then i install in the computer ASIO4all, but the sound didn't change, so i don't now if I buy an firewire or usb interface the sound changes..... Can you help me?

@live960 The first thing you must to do is to by a usb interface.After you must spend a litle time to make the set up of the guitar program(guitar rig).But you said do sound you have is not clean,maybe you check your monitors or the latency of the asio driver.I m shure you must check your audio settings.

Hello, did you plug the guitar directly to the computer or did you plug the guitar to the computer by a audio interface???
If was by an audio interface..... You plug the guitar by a firewire interface or a usb interface...??

@live960 Hello my friend.I plug the guitar in a usb interface(guitar rig mobile)and recorded in a cubase studio 4.Now i use for my recordings Cubase 5.
