I am a cancer research scientist who enjoy watching pinkicharm. I am also a reviewer for many high profile scientific journals. Small studies often leads to the wrong conclusions and the media runs with that information. So far based on the many cancer meetings (including AACR) I have attended, there is no link between parabens and cancer. The part I don't agree with is the drugstore mascara! Please try Lancome Hypnose waterproof.

Hello, I was wondering if there was a mascara that was similar to this one? Or if you could tell me another mascara that can hold a curl and has great volume? I like this one so much but trying to get it off is torture! Your response would be greatly appreciated!!! (i've tried full exposure and covergirl, but full exposure weighed them down and covergirl made my lashes "crunchy")

Hi, I'm looking for a mascara that I will only use when I want to 'slut it up' (going out to night clubs/ weekends/ maybe bars etc) I have natural long lashes so I don't care so much about length as I do about volume. The sales person at Sephora suggested this to me after I told her what I was looking for. Also, I really like to chuck that shit up. Meaning, I like to apply many layers at once. $18 is a lot for me, but I don't plan on using this mascara everyday so it should last me a long time.

@pinkiecharm I do watch reviews on products before I buy and you review just about everything, It would just be great if I didn't have to fast forward to the good stuff all the time.

@2katsmom yeah but lancome hypnose is $25 a tube; so I should hope that it is a fantastic mascara, but with the recommendation that you replace your mascara every 3-4 months, that's $100 a year on mascara alone. Also the Hypnose brush and formula is what makes it so fab. Personally for the money I will buy L'oreal Voluminous and am very happy.  but to each her own.
