This is a DIY for cutting a hole in your fender to install sidemarkers. Although I did mine on my 2007 Honda Civic Si, the cutting is the same on any model.

  • does the side marke blink instade of the signal light?

  • @StL87 I wired it so that when the headlights are off, the front corner, side marker, and rear signal all blink at the same time. When the headlights are on, then the front and back alternate with the side marker.

  • Very good DIY video bro, props to you! ive been wanting to install my eg6 side markers but im a lil nervous! you made it look easy!

  • looks are deceiving.. i was scared shitless lol

  • dang i couldnt cut a hole into my car like that... why cant they make like battery operated, remote control side markers? lol. save the hassle

  • that would be much easier. or even just drill a small hole to run the wires and then just have it stick on with double sided tape, lol.

  • Nice DIY - its good that you took your time and made sure that you had precise cuts - I'm thinking about doing this over the Thanksgiving weekend - I'm going with the DC5 clear sidemarkers, although i love the amber look as well, i think I'm gonna go clear - over all though nice job!

  • @Infinite0216 yo infinite0216 ....I was watchin this video to gain the guts to do my own side markers. BTW...What song is this on the video..?? Sounds good...

  • awesome DIY!!!

  • Side markers are easy to install u just need to take it slow if it your first time but good job

  • Just one slip &. YOUR DONE SON! HA! Good work on not killing your patient.

  • Most excellent song also Woop.

    I love it (:

  • the good thing is that my car is a Mr2 86, the bad part is that I going to use sidemarks from a Saab ( look better but is kind of hard to do the shape ). Did anyone has a video about how to wired

    sidemarks?

  • You need to at least use touch up paint or primer on the bare metal that's cut to prevent rust.
